Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information AerialBid (“we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. AerialBid is a tool for contractors that measures driveways, lots, and roofs from satellite/aerial imagery, prices the job, and produces branded quotes customers can accept online.
1. Information we collect
- Account information you provide: your name, company name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Job and measurement data you create: property addresses you look up, the map areas and measurements you draw, your pricing rates, line items, notes, and the estimates you generate.
- Customer/quote data you enter about the people you send quotes to: their name, email, service address, and any acceptance or signature they provide when they accept a quote online.
- Billing data: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We receive limited billing details (such as plan, status, and the last four digits of a card); we do not store full card numbers.
- Technical data: basic log and device information (e.g., request identifiers, IP address, timestamps) used for security and troubleshooting.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the service: display maps and satellite imagery, calculate areas and measurements, apply your rates, and generate and share branded quotes and PDFs.
- To process subscription payments and manage your plan.
- To secure your account, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
- To communicate with you about your account (e.g., welcome and security notices).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your job or customer data for advertising.
3. Maps and imagery
AerialBid uses the Google Maps Platform to display maps and satellite imagery for the addresses you look up. Your use of those map features is also subject to Google’s terms and privacy policy. We only send the location information needed to render the map you request.
4. How we share information
We share personal information only with the service providers needed to operate AerialBid — for example, our cloud hosting provider, the Google Maps Platform for imagery, Stripe for payment processing, and email delivery. These providers process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information if required by law. We never sell or rent your data.
5. Data retention and deletion
We keep your data only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can delete individual estimates at any time, and you may request deletion of your account and its data by emailing info@getforgeworks.com. Deletion removes your records from our production systems; residual copies in short-lived backups age out on our backup rotation.
6. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Passwords are stored only as secure hashes, access to production systems is restricted, and AerialBid offers optional two-factor authentication for your own login.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by using the in-app account controls or by emailing info@getforgeworks.com. We honor verified requests within the timeframe required by applicable law.
8. Children
AerialBid is a business tool intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by notifying you.
